MOONWALKER

Tentatively planned is a Thursday afternoon amateur golf tournament featuring foursomes headed by an astronaut or celebrity. Spots in the foursomes will be auctioned with the proceeds going to the San Diego Air & Space Museum.

The tournament will be a "best ball" format, so rotten golfers need not worry. Scores will depend on the foursomes' best shots.

The foursomes will begin at the same time at different holes, (shotgun) so they play concurrently and finish at roughly the same time. JOIN IN THE FUN! Email staff@novaspace.com and indicate your interest. We'll get back with you.

Moonwalker CHARLIE DUKE has agreed to head up the tourney, with GENE CERNAN, JIM McDIVITT, and JACK LOUSMA also. Others are in the pipeline.
